Research

I plan on researching vegetation dynamics following high severity wildfires — predicting community-level responses and better understanding bottlenecks to successful conifer regeneration — to inform climate-adaptive post-fire land management. Additionally, I plan on exploring how plant flammability can be influenced by volatile organic compounds, drought stress, and plant morphology.
