Dive into marine science with EEMB on World Oceans Day!

Led by the Hofmann and lab and supported by funds from an NSF award, EEMB marine scientists will help host an outreach event at the Sea Center, a part of the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum. This will be the third annual WOD event at the Sea Center. participants include members of the Eliason, Hofmann and Stier labs, and the McCauley group will be there with a whale VR experience. In addition, the LTERs will be there along with an activity presented by the REEF (thank you Scott Simon!).  As a new addition this year, we will joined by Kelsey Bisson and her team who will present art+science (STEAM) insight gained during their cruise on the R/V Sally Ride that occurred during the Thomas Fire.
